Vermitex 7® FS
Vermitex 7 FS is a mixture of Vermiculite and Cement, plus additives to improve its rheological properties and can be applied to a variety of backgrounds. Vermitex 7 FS does not spall or crack under mechanical impact and is resistant to thermal shock.
Application can be carried out by hand or preferably mechanically. Being a premix material, on site, only water need be added and we do recommend the use of Mechanical mixers.
When using Vermitex 7 FS in exposed locations - a water repellent protective film should be used, and adopt water shedding details on junctions and abutments.
Vermitex 7 FS may be reinforced with light gauge galvanised mesh.
